Just as soon as the welterweight fight between [autotag]Mickey Gall[/autotag] and [autotag]Alex Oliveira[/autotag] was set, the fight is off.
The UFC announced late Friday night that the matchup, which was set for UFC on ESPN+ 27 on Feb. 29 in Norfolk, Va., has been canceled.
No reason was given for the fight getting pulled from the card, although the company did say there will not be a replacement fight made, leaving both competitors in limbo for the time being.

Oliveira (19-8-1 MMA, 9-6 UFC) last competed at UFC on ESPN+ 18, where he dropped a unanimous decision to Nicolas Dalby for his third straight defeat.
