The Dallas Cowboys entered Sundays game against a banged up Eagles team with the NFC East title and pretty much their season on the line.
Then they went out and scored all of nine points in an uninspired 17-9 loss to Philadelphia, who is now in control of the division, much to the dismay of Cowboys fans who want Jason Garrett fired after another brutal loss.
The Cowboys now need a lot of help from the New York Giants to make it to the playoffs. The Eagles would have to lose in New York next week and the Cowboys would have to beat the Redskins at home for Dallas to win the NFC East. The Eagles would win the division with a win over the Giants or a Cowboys loss.
Cowboys fans, as they have been a lot the past few years, were fed up with Garrett, whose team struggled yet again in a big game. There was some questionable play calls – like having Ezekiel Elliott out on a big 3rd and 1 that ended with a fumble – and just listless play from a team that had so much on the line.
Jerry Jones even headed out of his suite before the end of the game:

Fans are done with Garrett:
I've been cheering the Cowboys for 54 years. The 2019 team is the worst in terms of potential vs performance.
At no point did the team show any type of sustained quality. #FireGarrett

@dallascowboys a team that plays with zero passion is the fault of only one person… #FireGarrett

Imagine having a roster like Dallas and the TV announcer calls your kicker the best player on the team #FireGarrett

Jason Garrett right now in the locker room after this deflating probably season ending loss like “cmon guys bring it in. Good game, y’all tried” #FireGarrett pic.twitter.com/bFx19jqSvc

Dallas deserved this season, to be honest.
I thought it was insane to bring back Jason Garrett after last season.
The only positive is that it's almost over.

If Jason Garrett is the Cowboys coach next season, I might take a year off as a fan. What an absolute joke.

Jerry Jones actually stacked up a talented team, to let Jason Garrett ruin it.
Two idiots.
