Todd Gurley isn’t having a great season by his standards, but he continues to score touchdowns at a high rate. Against the 49ers on Saturday night, he scored his 13th touchdown of the year, and in the process, he made Rams history.
He became the first player in franchise history to score 13 touchdowns in three straight seasons. Here’s the play he did it on, showing good speed to the edge after freezing the defenders on the right side.

Gurley isn’t the workhorse back he once was, but he’s still effective when given opportunities. It’s just that his chances are now limited and he doesn’t show the same burst he did in previous seasons.
He still has a nose for the end zone, though.
