Raiders select two Oklahoma Sooners in latest Draft Wire mock

The 2019 season is coming to a close as the Oakland Raiders have just two games remaining on their schedule. Once the season officially ends, it will soon be draft season as events such as the Senior Bowl and NFL Combine will be soon on their way.

With the Raiders having two picks in the first round of the 2020 draft, fans of the team should pay close attention to the College Football Playoffs as it is very likely that at least one of their first-round picks will likely be playing.

In a recent mock draft by Luke Easterling of the Draft Wire, the Raiders selected two players from the No. 4 ranked Oklahoma Sooners; wide receiver CeeDee Lamb and linebacker Kenneth Murray.

It’s no secret that the wide receiver and linebacker positions are the two most significant needs for the Raiders entering the offseason. Luckily of Oakland, there is a lot of talent and depth at the position, especially in the first round.

Lamb is arguably the best receiver in the class as he can instantly fill the No. 1 wide receiver void in Oakland with his size, speed, and ability to make plays down the field. Murray would be a fantastic fit as the team’s starting middle linebacker, which has been a problem for years.

Both Sooners will be on the field when they take on No. 1 ranked LSU next weekend. Keep a close eye on both players as they could soon be wearing the Silver and Black in Las Vegas.
