The Indianapolis Colts (6-8) have been in a terrible rut that got them kicked out of playoff contention but they still have two games left to play before the regular season ends.
This week, the Colts will be hosting the Carolina Panthers (5-9) at Lucas Oil Stadium. As two teams that are already out of the playoffs, this game has no real implication.
However, the Colts have opened the week as 7.5-point favorites over the visiting Panthers, per BetMGM.
The Colts will be using the final two games as a way of evaluating the roster in specific areas while shifting the focus to the offseason. There are big moves to be made to a roster that still needs additions.
The Panthers weren’t able to recover from the Cam Newton injury earlier in the season and while they have had some competitive games, they are currently sitting in last place in the NFC South tied with the Atlanta Falcons.
The Colts have lost four games in a row and six of the last seven, but they are expected to come out with a win against the Panthers this week.
