Bengals all but wrap up 2020 draft order race for first pick

Here’s the updated 2020 NFL draft order.

One game separates the Cincinnati Bengals from clinching the top pick in the 2020 NFL draft.

The Bengals took another loss in Week 15, this time predictably at the hands of the New England Patriots to fall to 1-13.

With two weeks left, this is how the 2020 draft order shakes out, per Tankathon:

  • 1. CIN (1-13)
  • 2. NYG (3-11)
  • 3. MIA (3-11)
  • 4. WAS (3-11)
  • 5. DET (3-10-1)

While the Bengals were busy getting blown out, the New York Giants were out picking up a win over the Miami Dolphins. Those Giants had previously been Cincinnati’s biggest threat for the top pick as the only two-win team in the NFL.

Now, 31 teams have at least three wins this season. The Bengals are the exception as they trailblaze a path to what undoubtedly has to be Joe Burrow at first overall.

Barring an almost unfathomable change over the last two weeks the top pick belongs to the Bengals. They next take to the road to play those Dolphins in Week 16.
