North Carolina Tar Heels freshman point guard Cole Anthony is out indefinitely due to a right knee injury, the school announced on Sunday afternoon.
Anthony did not play as the No. 17 Tarheels lost to unranked Wofford. After appearing in the previous nine games for the Tar Heels, Anthony is expected to be out on a game-by-game basis.
Anthony is averaging 19.1 points, 6.3 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.9 steals for North Carolina this season. He is second in the nation in scoring among all freshman and is fourth overall in the ACC.
He is widely considered to be a top-five pick in the 2020 NBA Draft.

Anthony, the son of former NBA veteran Greg Anthony, entered the season will plenty of hype as his ability to score and takeover games put him second on the Top 100 ranking index by ESPN. He has lived up to expectations this season though has struggled in the paint, shooting just 44.1% at the rim.
