It started badly for newly signed kicker Kai Forbath during his debut with the Dallas Cowboys when he put the opening kickoff out of bounds. Perhaps the Cowboys were cursed at the kicking position.
Maybe Brett Maher never stood a chance. This could still all be true, but for one brief and shining moment, Forbath delivered knocking a 50-yard field goal through the uprights, sending the crowd into a frenzy.
FORBATH IS GOOD AND WHY TF DID YOU LET BRETT MAHER SUCK THE ENERGY OUT OF THIS TEAM ALL SEASON

Kai Forbath with a 50-yard field goal for a 31-7 lead. Everything is going right.

Forbath made me smirk with that FG kick. Well done, sir.#CobraKai #Cowboys

Forbath nutted that one so perfectly that he turned and celebrated with the holder before the ball was through the uprights.

Kai Forbath's first FG as a Cowboy is good from 50. Cowboys lead 31-7.
Forbath signed this week. Found out he got the job when his mom texted him the news 😂

It’s a good point, honestly. The Cowboys now lead 31-7 after ultimately receiving the ball in the second half despite the “defer” fiasco that started the day.
