The Panthers had a chance to cut into the Seahawks’ lead before the half, but another costly turnover ended that hope. Watch quarterback Kyle Allen throw another bad interception, his 13th of the season. It’s an admittedly sharp play by Bobby Wagner, but Allen appeared to stare down wide receiver Chris Hogan and then released the ball too late.
There’s no point in dragging Allen, anymore. This is who he is. Rookie QB Will Grier deserves a chance to prove he can do better, whether it’s in the second half or next week against the Colts.
Carolina trails 20-7 at halftime.
