The Vikings pass defense should be on high alert on Sunday afternoon against the Chargers.
Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers is known for throwing passes up for grabs. In 2019, Rivers already has 15 interceptions. Rivers has twice led the NFL in interceptions thrown (2014 and 2016).
As a unit, the Vikings have 13 interceptions this season, a mark that ranks third in the NFL.
Out of 13 games this season, Rivers didn’t throw an interception in five games. However, he’s thrown two or more in four games.
That’s a storyline to watch heading into the week.
