The Nets sent both Nic Claxton and Rodions Kurucs to Long Island on Monday to play for Brooklyn’s G League team against Raptors 905. The Long Island Nets wound up losing 106-95 and are now last in the G League’s Eastern Conference with a 2-10 record.
While Rodions Kurucs had a solid showing (14 points on 6-for-7 shooting and five rebounds), things didn’t go as well for Nic Claxton.
Not because the rookie played poorly. He just wasn’t able to see the floor much because he suffered a hamstring injury.
On Monday, Brooklyn announced both Claxton and Kurucs had been recalled from their assignment with Long Island.
