Ashlee Evans-Smith vs. Molly McCann added to UFC London

UFC London has added a women’s 125-pound matchup.

A women’s flyweight fight has been booked for UFC London.

[autotag]Ashlee Evans-Smith[/autotag] and [autotag]Molly McCann[/autotag] will square off on Saturday, March 21. The yet-unnamed UFC card is scheduled to take place at O2 Arena in London and is expected to either air on ESPN or stream on ESPN+.

A person with knowledge of the situation confirmed the booking to MMA Junkie following an initial report from reporter Jim Edwards. The person asked to remain anonymous as the UFC has yet to make an official announcement.

Evans-Smith (6-4 MMA, 3-4 UFC) will look to get back in the win column after losing her most recent fight to Andrea Lee in June. Prior to the loss, Evans-Smith’s previous fight took place all the way back in April 2018 – a win over Bec Rawlings.

As for McCann (10-2 MMA, 3-1 UFC), the 29-year-old fighter is riding a three-fight winning streak entering another homecoming. After she dropped her UFC debut against Gillian Robertson, McCann rebounded by defeating Priscila Cachoeira and Ariane Lipski.

In her most recent fight in mid-October, McCann defeated Diana Belbita at UFC on ESPN 6 in Boston. All three of McCann’s UFC victories have been won by unanimous decision.

At this time, Evans-Smith vs. McCann is the lone fight announced for UFC London.
