The Kansas City Chiefs have re-signed an old acquaintance in running back Spencer Ware Ware originally joined the Chiefs as a free agent signing in 2015. He spent the past three seasons in Kansas City before testing free agency in 2019. Ware was signed by the Colts earlier in the season but required ankle surgery. He was ultimately placed on the PUP list by the Colts and released. In a corresponding move, the Chiefs waived WR Gehrig Dieter, who was promoted from the practice squad just two weeks ago Ware has over 2,000 yards from scrimmage and 13 touchdowns with Kansas City during his prior three-year stint with the team
