DALLAS — Former University of Tennessee tight end Jason Witten scored a touchdown on Thanksgiving Day for the Dallas Cowboys.
The Cowboys lost to the Buffalo Bills, 26-15, but the former Vol recorded six receptions for 42 receiving yards and scored one touchdown.

Witten, who was drafted by the Cowboys in 2003 and briefly retired after the 2017 season to work for ESPN on its Monday Night Football broadcasts, returned in 2019.
The former Vol played for UT from 2000-02 and totaled 68 receptions for 797 yards and scored seven touchdowns. Witten was First-Team All-SEC in 2002.
The Cowboys are 6-6 on the season and play at Chicago on Dec. 5.
