With the Nets in Boston for a Thanksgiving Eve matchup, Celtics fans wanted to let Brooklyn know how they feel about Kyrie Irving. The point guard is still battling a right shoulder impingement and was ruled out for the game. He also did not attend Brooklyn’s game in Boston.
Irving’s absence didn’t stop Boston fans from sharing their feeling about him. There were posters with Irving’s face and “Coward” written underneath posted outside fo the TD Garden.
Before the Boston’s starting lineup was even announced, Celtics fans were chanting “Where is Ky-rie?” On Brooklyn’s first offensive possession, Celtics fans booed the Nets on the floor.
