Eagles down 10-3 to Seahawks at the half as Carson Wentz struggles with accuracy

The Philadelphia Eagles should probably be down by 24 to the Seahawks, but thanks to a strong defensive effort, the Birds only trail 10-3 after 30 minutes.

Quarterback Carson Wentz played the worst half of his career, as the Eagles struggled with the absence of Jordan Howard, Alshon Jeffery, Nelson Agholor and Lane Johnson. Star right guard Brandon Brooks left the game early in the first quarter due to an illness.

Wentz struggled badly with his accuracy, missing running back Miles Sanders in the flat twice, and throwing behind tight end Zach Ertz on third down. Wentz was also sacked three times, lost a fumble and threw an interception.

Wentz was 10 of 16 for 62 yards and an interception with a 44.3 passer rating, while his counterpart from Seattle played well in the first half, as Wilson was 7 of 14 for 116 yards, one touchdown and a 102.1 passer rating.
