We’re about to give you some of the best advice you’ll ever get from a Miami Dolphins story: find yourself someone who is as happy for your success as Miami Dolphins LB Sam Eguavoen was for Jakeem Grant’s this past Sunday against the Buffalo Bills. Eguavoen was “mic’d up” for Sunday’s Week 11 contest between the Dolphins and the Bills, providing some really fun insight into the divisional contest.
The highlight of the game for the Dolphins was the aforementioned Grant’s kickoff return for a touchdown in the first half, a sprint that kept the Dolphins within striking distance going into halftime and provided fireworks that had not just the fans in the seats pumped up, but also the players on the field.

Eguavoen was one of the other 10 Dolphins on the field for Grant’s spring through the Buffalo kickoff unit and his excitement to greet Grant in the end zone was as good of an indication that the “culture” of the Miami Dolphins is headed in the right direction. The team plays hard, but as these insights into the team on the field indicate, they seem to genuinely care for one another — a very underrated part of successful teams in any sport.
Hopefully the next time the Dolphins meet the Bills on the field, the Dolphins will be better equipped to come home with a win. You know guys like Eguavoen are going to bring the energy, it’s just a matter of getting difference makers all over the field.
