I asked Browns DT Sheldon Richardson if Myles Garrett had ever told him what Garrett alleged about Rudolph in the hearing. Richardson said he hadn’t and said my question was the first he’d even heard about it.

Just asked Baker Mayfield about Garrett’s allegation that Rudolph used a racial slur and he seemed pretty stunned. Said wasn’t something he’d heard, including from anyone on the team, until I just asked him

And the plot thickens.
It wasn’t long after the report came out that Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett claimed Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Mason Rudolph had used a racial slur before their fight when he met with the NFL at his appeal hearing that questions arose about the validity of the claim.
According to NFL reporter Jake Trotter, at least two of Garrett’s teammates, Sheldon Richardson and Baker Mayfield had never heard this before from Garrett or anyone else on the team. Mayfield said he was “stunned” by the report.
This whole situation could get very ugly for Garrett and really blow up in his face. It will be interesting to see how the NFL views these latest allegations.
