Lonzo Ball will miss his sixth straight game on Tuesday against the Portland Trail Blazers with a groin strain. For the second consecutive time, Ball was listed on the injury report the day before the contest as questionable but, again, will not be in action on the court.
Unlike Ball, both Brandon Ingram and Frank Jackson, each who were listed as questionable coming into the contest, will return to the court. Ingram has missed the last four contests with a knee injury.
Alvin Gentry says he thinks team will have Brandon Ingram and Frank Jackson tonight “for sure.”
No one else returning tonight.

Ball has found himself sidelined for multiple weeks. After suffering his adductor injury on Nov. 4 against Brooklyn, Ball played on Nov. 8 against Toronto before sitting out since, a span of nearly two weeks.
The Pelicans will hit the road after Tuesday’s game with stops in Phoenix, Utah and Los Angeles against the Clippers starting on Thursday. Ball availability in those games remains up in the air despite New Orleans stating the injury isn’t considered a long-term one.
