The Washington Redskins were one of eight teams to attend Colin Kaepernick’s workout on Saturday.
USA Today’s Dan Wolken had confirmed he saw Redskins scouts there. The morning after, as seen in the tweet above, ESPN’s Adam Schefter followed up.
The NFL had previously confirmed the Redskins were one of the teams set to attend the original workout.
Original, because the workout at the Atlanta Falcons’ facility got canned and Kaepernick moved it to a local high school. It was open to the media and he spoke with onlookers after the session.
Both the quarterback and NFL released statements about the change:
Colin Kaepernick’s workout at the Falcons’ training facility at 3 pm is off; his workout now will be at another Atlanta location at 4 pm today.

Now the waiting game to see if Kaepernick gets signed anywhere begins. The Redskins, by virtue of attending, sit in the forefront.
