No. 4 Notre Dame earned a series split this weekend in Wisconsin after a thrilling comeback win against the Badgers Saturday night.
With Notre Dame trailing 4-3 and under seven minutes to play, Colin Theisen tied things up at four, scoring his fourth goal of the season.
Alex Steeves then netted the winner 1:58 in overtime as the Irish moved to 4-1-1 in Big Ten play this season and 8-1-1 overall.

Goalie Cale Morris stopped 31 of 35 shots in the victory.
Notre Dame returns to the ice Friday night in East Lansing where they’ll have a two-game series against Michigan State.
