The Cleveland Browns made a roster move late on Tuesday, well after the practice session in Berea. While it has not officially been processed by the league, the Browns have waived reserve linebacker Malik Jefferson.

Jefferson has been active and appeared in all nine games in 2019 after being claimed off waivers from the Cincinnati Bengals after the final roster cuts. While he never saw a snap on defense, Jefferson has played a lot of special teams. He was on the field for 14 special teams reps in the Week 10 win over Buffalo.

No corresponding roster move has been made. The Browns can promote someone from the practice squad or make a move from the outside with the roster now at 52, one below the 53-man limit.
