New England was riding high entering this game after defeating Baltimore in Week 10.
However, reality sunk in quickly in Week 11 as the Houston Texans defeated the Patriots 27-20, for only their third win on the year.
The Texans were better in all three phases, as they methodically marched down the field on offense, kept New England’s offense under wraps on defense, and were perfect on special teams.
It seems like the Patriots’ chances of making a push towards the playoffs are slipping away, and this is was the first real sign of this truth.
