The Cleveland Browns took the unusual step of offering up a pre-game injury scratch list for Sunday night’s final preseason game in Atlanta. The Browns announced before the game that eight players are expected to sit out due to injury.
Teams are not required to file injury updates and reports like this for exhibition games, but there’s nothing wrong about transparency on why certain players sit out.
The eight players who will sit against the Falcons, none of which are surprises whatsoever:
- S Grant Delpit (hamstring)
- OL Michael Dunn (back)
- LB Tony Fields (foot)
- LB Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah (forehead)
- LB Jacob Phillips (biceps)
- CB M.J. Stewart (hamstring)
- LB Sione Takitaki (hamstring)
- CB Greedy Williams (groin)
