Michael Foster Jr., formerly of the NBA G League Ignite, on Sunday signed a contract with the Philadelphia 76ers after going undrafted last month, the team announced.
Foster averaged 15.5 points, 9.5 rebounds and 2.4 assists in 25 games with the Ignite. He was the first prospect to sign with the Ignite in their second season and had a solid campaign with the team. He had his best game on Jan. 28 with 28 points, nine rebounds and seven assists.
The Sixers will reportedly sign Foster to an Exhibit 10 contract, according to Noah Levick of NBC Sports Philadelphia. He will likely eventually join their G League affiliate, the Delaware Blue Coats, as part of the contract.
