7 ex-Broncos players involved in NFL playoffs today

Seven former Broncos players are still alive in the NFL playoffs.

The NFL playoffs continue today with a doubleheader of conference title games.

First up is the AFC championship game featuring the Baltimore Ravens and Kansas City Chiefs. The Ravens feature ex-Denver Broncos cornerback Ronald Darby on defense. On offense, Baltimore has ex-Denver backup quarterback Josh Johnson providing depth.

KC does not have any former Broncos on its roster, but the NFC championship game features five ex-Denver players.

The San Francisco 49ers have pass rusher Randy Gregory and backup quarterback Brandon Allen. The Detroit Lions have offensive lineman Graham Glasgow, wide receiver Kalif Raymond and backup quarterback Teddy Bridgewater.

Gregory was traded to the 49ers in exchange for a late-round draft pick earlier this season. Darby, Glasgow and Johnson spent time with the Broncos in 2022. Bridgewater played for Denver in 2021 — Allen played for the Broncos in 2019 and Raymond did in 2016.

The winners of Sunday’s playoff games will advance to Super Bowl LVIII. After a break next weekend, the Super Bowl will be played in Las Vegas on Sunday, Feb. 11 at 4:30 p.m. MT on CBS and fuboTV (try it free).
