With today being 7 days away from the first game, we are here to celebrate a pair of 7s on the roster.
Our first player is a leader in the offense. J. Michael Staurdivent. The 6’3, 205lbs junior came to the Bruins from California. Before his time with the Bears, he went to Marcus High School in Texas. He played in all 13 games last season, starting 10 of them. He averaged 16.5 yards per reception last season, which was sixth in the Pac-12. In the LA Bowl win, he had a team-high 142 yards and a touchdown.

Second, is 5’11, 186 redshirt senior defensive back K.J. Wallace. Wallace is from Atlanta and started his career at Georgia Tech. He enrolled at UCLA in January. With the Yellow Jackets, he played in all 12 games. He made 10 starts at Nickel. He was second on the team in breakups and passes defended. He was second with two forced fumbles as well. Wallace should be a nice addition to the Bruins’ defense.
