6 Titans players to watch vs. Indianapolis Colts

Here are six Titans players to keep your eyes on as they take on the Indianapolis Colts in Week 6.

The 2-3 Indianapolis Colts will look to bounce back after last week’s loss, taking on the 1-3 Tennessee Titans on the road.

Of course, with this being a divisional opponent, there’s a lot of familiarity between these two teams. However, with each new season comes changes for each team as well, which for the Titans includes a new head coach in Brian Callahan and a number of offseason additions.

Let’s take a look at six Titans’ players to keep your eyes on during this Week 6 matchup with the Colts:

LB Kenneth Murray: In four games, Murray leads the team in tackles with 27 in total and has been productive as a blitzer as well in this defense, totaling five pressures on the season, which is the fourth-most on the team.

RB Tony Pollard: With 61 rush attempts, Pollard is far and away the Titans lead back in the run game. He’s averaging 4.0 yards per carry with two touchdowns. We will also see Tyjae Spears out of the backfield, who is often used in the passing game.

WR Calvin Ridley: Ridley leads the team in targets with 18 and has been their biggest playmaker through the air, averaging almost 16.0 yards per reception with a score.

IDL Jeffery Simmons: The Titans have been one of the more productive teams against the run and that starts in the middle with Jeffery Simmons as well as T’Vondre Sweat. Look for the Colts to try to run the ball outside of the tackles in this game to avoid those two.

DE Harold Landry: Through four games, Landry has been the Titans most productive pass rusher, totaling 10 pressures and four sacks. Overall, however, the Titans do rank 25th in pressure rate.

CB L’Jarius Sneed: According to PFF, Sneed has played most of his snaps this season on the boundary. In coverage he’s allowed just five receptions on 12 targets for 65 yards.
