Auburn and Gunner Stockton seemed like a great match after Mike Bobo, who recruited him for South Carolina, joined the Tigers’ coaching staff as offensive coordinator.
It wasn’t meant to be though as the 5-star quarterback announced on Thursday that he has committed to rival Georgia.

Originally committed to the Gamecocks, Stockton reopened his recruiting after the South Carolina staff was fired following the 2020 season.
The No. 1 dual-threat quarterback in the 2020 recruiting class, Stockton threw for 3,128 yards and 45 touchdowns to just four interceptions while rushing for 1,581 yards and 26 scores in 14 games as a junior this past season.
