WOW. How’s that for a statement game?
The Milwaukee Bucks were booted from the NBA playoffs in the bubble earlier this year by a feisty, tough and entertaining Miami Heat team that made it all the way to the Finals, only to lose to the Los Angeles Lakers.
So when the Bucks faced the Heat on Tuesday — without Jimmy Butler, it’s worth noting — they apparently wanted to make sure the NBA knew they meant business.
When the dust settled, the Bucks won by 47. FOURTY. SEVEN. Not exactly what you’d expect out of two Eastern Conference contenders.
