Starting Monday, XFL players can begin signing with NFL teams, and that could mean a return to the NFL for Johnson.

After playing with five teams over the course of seven years in the NFL, the 33-year-old decided to take his talents to the XFL, where he looked dominant.

In five games, Johnson completed 60 percent of his passes for 1,076 yards and 11 touchdowns, both of which were good enough for second-most in the league behind P.J. Walker.
