5 times LeBron James has gotten away with blatant travels

Was the one against the Jazz the worst?

If you thought LeBron James getting away with a clear travel on Wednesday night while facing the Utah Jazz was the first time that has happened, you’re extremely wrong.

But let’s take a second and remember blatant travels that go uncalled happen all the time in the NBA, and not just to James. Remember Clint Capela earlier this year? Bradley Beal in February? Jerami Grant in 2018?

The funny thing to me is that James was caught on a hot mic telling fans, “That’s one of the worst ones I’ve ever done in my life.”

The question: is he right? Let’s review some of his most blatant travels:

1. 2010

This seems kind of egregious, no?

2. 2015

As you’ll see, James sometimes starts an inbounds play by walking with the ball and not dribbling.

3. 2017

That angle looks like a travel, more than a Euro Step. But this one shows that Ben Simmons knocked it loose:

4. 2018

HE’S WALKING WHILE HOLDING THE BALL!

5. 2019
