In seemingly their fourth must-win game of the season, Iowa was once again up for the challenge. It wasn’t at all pretty, but pretty isn’t the Hawkeye way.
In the freezing cold Minnesota weather, Iowa gutted out a gritty 13-10 win over the Gophers. It is Iowa’s eighth, count it, eighth win in a row against a Minnesota program that just can’t figure them out. It was your stereotypical Big Ten West game with both offenses seemingly unwilling to put the ball in the end zone.
Some see it as boring, but for the millions (and millions) of fans in the Sicko Community, this was everything they could have wanted. Here are the five things we learned from Iowa’s big win.
