Dallas made it clear very early in the pre-draft process they were interested in Ole Miss standout Sam Williams. While those who followed the Cowboys offseason closely saw this pick coming from a mile away, the timing caught some off guard. Seen as a third of fourth round prospect to most, Dallas clearly has their mind made up this year and do not want to tempt fate to wait for their guys to fall.
