The Oklahoma Sooners came away with a 23-16 win over the Nebraska Cornhuskers in a much closer contest than many anticipated. The offense scored just enough points. aided after Pat Fields returned a point-after attempt for two and the defense made the necessary stops at the end of the game to prevent a Nebraska comeback.
Spencer Rattler was solid but certainly left some throws on the field. There are things Oklahoma still has to prove to themselves and to the pollsters as they get ready for West Virginia and the start of Big 12 play next weekend.
