3. rb d’andre swift, georgia
The Texans would be making a commitment to get younger at running back, and that doesn’t seem to be Bill O’Brien’s philosophy, who has consistently had rushers in their mid to late twenties carry the rock for Houston. If the Texans were to go with Swift, they would be getting a 5-9, 215-pound running back who could carry the load and help out in the passing game. Swift carried 196 times for 1,218 yards and seven touchdowns for Georgia in 2019 while also catching 24 passes for 216 yards and a touchdown. Swift would be paired with Duke Johnson. Taking Swift would depend on what the Texans do with Lamar Miller and Carlos Hyde, who are both set to be free agents.
