It apparently wasn’t the Last Dance for Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers.
The quarterback is coming back to the Pack on a humongous deal, per the NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
This, however, is the worst news for … the Denver Broncos.
There was some hope that the franchise perpetually looking for a franchise quarterback since Peyton Manning retired would acquire Rodgers, especially after the Broncos hired the QB’s former offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett as the team’s head coach.
And Rodgers was reportedly thinking about it. But in the end, he’s sticking around with a team that will contend again in 2022.
