The Rams will truly never avenge their two Super Bowl losses to the New England Patriots, with the most recent one coming just two seasons ago. However, they’ll at least try to beat them for the first time since 2001 on Thursday night when they square off at SoFi Stadium.
In order to do that, they’ll need to win some key individual matchups, many of which favor the Rams. This Patriots team isn’t as talented as those from years past, but they’re still led by Bill Belichick and have a former NFL MVP at quarterback in Cam Newton.
