Joe Namath had 37 passing touchdowns through his first two seasons, while Ken O’Brien had 31.

Darnold flourished both on the ground and in the air on Sunday. He went 20-29, throwing for 315 yards and scoring three total touchdowns. He threw two in the air and ran one score in himself.
