Sticky Hands
Ryan Griffin caught his fifth touchdown reception of the season on Sunday. He now leads the Jets with five touchdowns on the season.
His latest score came one day after he signed a three-year contract extension that includes $4 million in guaranteed money.
“It happened real quick,” Griffin said of the deal. “Joe [Douglas] extended a great offer that I couldn’t pass up.”
Griffin’s five receiving touchdowns this season are the most by a Jets tight end since 2011 when Dustin Keller also had five.
