It’s starting to become a regular occurrence when the Oregon Ducks land a highly-rated recruit, and that’s something that we are just fine with.
On Monday, the nation’s No. 27 overall prospect, WR Tetairoa McMillan, announced his commitment to the Ducks, giving them their second elite recruit in the past week, coming off of the heels of the announcement from 4-star CB Jahlil Florence.
McMillan chose the Ducks over the Arizona Wildcats, who made a strong push for the 6-foot-3, 185-pound receiver out of Anaheim, CA.
After landing true-freshmen receivers Troy Franklin and Dont’e Thornton a year ago, both of whom were 4-star recruits, the Ducks are continuing their transformation of the offense with the addition of McMillan. As Thornton said to the media a week ago following one of Oregon’s practices, they’re doing what they can to make the Ducks known as a passing school, as well as a rushing one. The addition of McMillan will certainly help that.
