Dan Lanning and his Oregon Ducks program just keep adding talent.
Oregon’s Class of 2024 just got stronger this Sunday morning with the verbal commitment of safety Kingston Lopa out of Sacramento, Calif. With this addition, the Ducks are very close to having a Top 5 class in the nation and it’s only going to become stronger.
Lopa is a four-star recruit and is listed as an athlete. At 6-foot-4 and 195 pounds, he’ll project to be a free safety.
Many schools, naturally, wanted the services of Lopa with Washington being Oregon’s strongest competitor. According to Sports Illustrated, Lopa was scheduled for an official visit to Seattle in just a few days, but with this announcement via Twitter, it’s difficult to see that occurring now.
Lopa is the Ducks’ 17th commit for this class and the 11th four-star recuit.
