4-star safety Dashawn McBryde schedules visit to Tennessee

4-star safety Dashawn McBryde announced he will visit Tennessee. McBryde was a first-team All-State selection in 2022.

Four-star safety Dashawn McBryde announced intentions to visit Tennessee on March 25. It will be his first visit to Tennessee.

The 6-foot-3, 190-pound safety is from Denham Springs High School in Denham Springs, Louisiana.

McBryde is the No. 358 overall prospect in the class of 2024. He ranks as the No. 31 safety and No. 7 player in the state of Louisiana, according to the On3 Sports industry rankings.

He earned first-team Louisiana All-State honors last season. As a junior in 2022, McBryde finished the season with 46 total tackles, four tackles for a loss, nine pass breakups, nine interceptions and three touchdowns.

Tennessee entered McBryde’s recruitment on Feb. 7 as the Vols extended an offer to the four-star safety.
