2025 four-star wide receiver Cortez Mills will visit Nebraska for their September 7 contest against Colorado. This was first reported by On3.
Mills committed to the Oklahoma Sooners on July 1. The prospect has visited Nebraska several times over the last year. The wide receiver took an unofficial visit on January 20 and an official visit on April 26. He officially visited the LSU Tigers in June before committing to Oklahoma.
Mills is coming off a season for Homestead in which he recorded 79 catches for 1,640 yards and 18 touchdowns.
The 2025 Nebraska football recruiting class is ranked 31st overall nationally per the 247Sports Team Rankings. The Huskers already have a star wide receiver in Isaiah Mozee, who committed to the program back in August. Adding Mills to the fold would be another major get for a wide receiver room that is already loaded.
There is a lot of time between now and Early Signing Day. Nevertheless, getting Mills back on campus is a positive sign. His athleticism and big-time playmaking ability would fit perfectly with this offense.
