4-star RB projected to commit to Georgia football

The nation’s No. 5 running back recruit projected to commit to the Georgia Bulldogs over Auburn and FSU

The Georgia Bulldogs are projected to land a commitment from four-star running back recruit Ousmane Kromah. Kromah, who plans to announce his commitment on Oct. 5, is deciding among Georgia, Auburn and Florida State.

On3’s Chad Simmons projects that Kromah will commit to Georgia. Kromah was previously favored to commit to the Auburn Tigers.

Georgia and Auburn aren’t just battling for Kromah’s commitment on Saturday. The Bulldogs also host Auburn at 3:30 p.m. ET on Oct. 5.

Kromah is a member of the class of 2025 recruiting cycle. The 5-foot-11, 205-pound running back plays for Lee County High School in Leesburg, Georgia.

The four-star in-state recruit is the fifth-ranked running back in the country, according to 247Sports. The Lee County standout is the No. 84 recruit in the nation and the No. 11 prospect in Georgia.

Hugh Freeze and Auburn have the fourth-best recruiting class in the country. Kromah’s potential commitment could help Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs surpass Auburn in recruiting. Georgia currently has the fifth-best recruiting class in the nation, per 247Sports.
