The 49ers for the second consecutive year will face the Dallas Cowboys in the playoffs. This time San Francisco will host the Cowboys on Sunday at Levi’s Stadium at 3:30pm Pacific Time.
Dallas punched its ticket to the divisional playoffs with a 31-14 win over the Buccaneers on Monday Night Football to close out wild card weekend.
The 49ers got there with their 41-23 win over the Seahawks in the wild card game. There was a delay for the 49ers to know their opponent since the Vikings fell to the Giants in their wild card showdown. New York will now head to Philadelphia while the 49ers had to await the winner of the Cowboys-Buccaneers game.
San Francisco downed the Cowboys 23-17 in last year’s wild card round in Dallas. The two teams did not face off in this year’s regular season.
