According to Mike Garafolo of NFL Network, San Francisco has agreed to terms with general manager John Lynch on a multi-year extension, which will span five years in total.It keeps Kyle Shanahan and Lynch together with the 49ers through the 2024 season, giving them plenty more time to continue building the foundation that they’ve developed already in San Francisco.Lynch joined the 49ers as general manager in 2017 and led them to the Super Bowl last season – his third year at the helm.Lynch said on KNBR 680 in San Francisco on Tuesday that the 49ers wanted to re-sign him and Shanahan this offseason, so he had an idea that an extension was on the horizon.I could tell you think there’s some good news around the corner.
