49ers sack leader dealing with shoulder injury vs Dolphins

The 49ers’ sacks leader has been in and out of Sunday’s contest at the Dolphins.

The San Francisco 49ers temporarily saw their sacks leader sidelined versus the Miami Dolphins during Sunday’s Week 16 battle from Hard Rock Stadium.

49ers defensive end Leonard Floyd exited with a shoulder injury and was initially listed as questionable to return.

In good news for the 49ers, Floyd did return to the contest shortly thereafter.

Entering Sunday, Floyd had tallied 39 tackles, 8.5 sacks and eight tackles for loss.

The 49ers already saw the departure of linebacker Dre Greenlaw early in their Sunday contest against the Dolphins with a right calf injury.
