The San Francisco 49ers will be without star running back Christian McCaffrey for at least the next four games.
The NFC West champs placed McCaffrey on Injured Reserve on Saturday.
He has been battling a calf injury and Achilles tendinitis.

The earliest he could return would be Oct. 10 for a Thursday night divisional battle with the Seattle Seahawks.
