With just over a week left in the NFL regular season, we will soon find out who the Associated Press has named All-Pro for the 2022 season. It could be that two of this year’s All-Pro edge rushers will be playing on opposite sides of the field on Sunday.
At least that’s what Nick Bosa believes.
Nick Bosa on #Raiders Maxx Crosby: `I think he’s great. One of the top rushers in the league. Me and him are the best this year in my opinion.' #49ers

No lies detected.
In fact, 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan said the same of Crosby this week.
Bosa is a three-time Pro Bowl edge rusher and a frontrunner for being named All-Pro for the first time in his career. He and Crosby entered the league in the same 2019 draft. Though quite a few picks apart from each other. Bosa was the 2nd overall pick and Crosby was selected in the 4th round.
Yet, the two find themselves on similar footing atop the league with two games remaining.
Bosa leads the league with 17.5 sacks. That’s usually a recipe for being named an All-Pro at his position.
Meanwhile, Crosby leads the league in several other categories that can often go unnoticed considering the importance placed on sacks (of which he has 11.5 this season)
Crosby’s 19 tackles for loss leads the league, while his 81 combined tackles leads all defensive linemen. And his 33 QB hits are second behind only Bosa (42).
